2008 Event Schedule:
|
The Relay – April 19 & 20th
Calistoga to Santa Cruze – 199 mile
10 person relay run
A first for Team Yahoo…what a
learning curve this thing is….. J We’ll be back next
year, with some muchogroupobombit times to have, sans a few adventures we
don’t think we’ll repeat. Take a
gander of the affair.

24 Hours of Adrenalin – May 3rd
and 4th
Two 8 man teams racing 24 hours
around a specatular course. With the windy
cold fog, the early night laps were brutal.
Can’t wait to pump it up to more teams and humungo accommodations for
next year.

Death Ride – July 12th
124 Miles, 15 thousand feet of
climbing.
Back for another Death Ride
adventure. I’m personally looking
forward to a less than excruciating finish this year, albeit with much less
training. It’s a feat that will have challenges. We’re looking for a large crew to hang out
with, as this is gaining steam as we age into our silver years.

Reviving Track
After several years off the main
beat, our auto racing track program is coming around. Mid last year we embarked upon a new partnership
to get back out on to the track scene.
The end of last year saw one successful track date at Infineon (Sear’s
for those like me)…sporting a fully done pro fab shop designed and built roll
cage and seating system. Thank you to
the studs at Impact Engineering .
This year had big aspirations, but we
have still done another shake down run at Infineon, giving Mark and Stan
shots at behind the new front brake set-up.
We still hope to get all of our endurance race licenses updated and/or
issued, so stay tuned for our anticipated endurance race…..
We are a small non-profit adventure
events company helping others enjoy some of life's more spirited activities.
